The revised calendar maintains 180 instructional days while shortening summer break by one week. This change mirrors some of our neighboring school districts and aims to enhance education quality and support the well-being of students, families and staff.
Some of the other differences in this calendar include:
- Two additional days off in November (around Veterans Day and Thanksgiving)
- A mid-winter, week-long break in February around Presidents’ Day (Feb. 16-20)
The Virtual Learning Center will have Family Launch Meetings on August 27-29 and the first day of virtual class is Tuesday, September 2.
